See the bowl eligible teams, and those that could be, in the Bowl Eligible view.
In general, a team is bowl eligible if it has at least six wins over Division I-A opponents and has a winning record, i.e., percentage better than .500. In 12 game seasons, teams that finish 6-6 with the 6 wins over Division I-A opponents are considered bowl eligible.
There are times that a team may count a win against a non-Division I-A opponent towards bowl eligibility. The "IA Ws" column will show 5-1 if a team must us a non-Division 1-A opponent to achieve 6 wins. FBR does not keep track of when a team uses a non-Division I-A win toward bowl eligibility.
The "Bowl Eligible" grid displays teams that met the requirements. If there is a "?" by a team, that means the team could lose its eligibility - the last column shows the team's W-L record should the team lose its remaining games.
The "Not Eligible" grid displays teams that have not met the requirements. If there is a "?" by a team, that means then team could possible become bowl eligible. The last two columns shows the team's Division 1A wins and W-L records should the team win out.
